The Spanish government is eager to attract foreign investments

Participating at the Spain Investory Day event in Madrid, the Spanish PM urged international investors to take a look at the Spain and its great investment potential. The event brought together over 200 international investors and Spain’s most important companies, which are listed at the stock market.

According to Zapatero, Spain’s most competitive markets are infrastructure and renewable energy.

Science and Innovation Minister Cristina Garmendia opened the meeting by assuring potential investors que Spain is “a nation of science” with highly qualified human capital.

She referred to Spanish firms outstanding for their innovations and pacesetters in renewable energy markets such as wind and solar. See details here.

The Spanish Ministers agree that Spain’s situation is very different than Ireland’s because of the more sustainable and innovative economic model that they have shaped.
