Investment in real estate is increasing worldwide

Investment in real estate business is increasing worldwide, although not all areas have seen a consistent improvement, according to Real Capital Analytics, RCA.

Specifically, while the activity increases significantly in the Pacific Rim and South America during the third quarter, investment in Europe, Middle East and North Africa decreased.

real estate investments increase worldwideIn the third quarter, the global real estate investment increased by 22% in transaction volume. And from January to September the total transactions amounted a whopping 378.5 million dollars, an increase of 56% from last year.

Europe’s economic problems have dented investor interest, undermining investment in the period since the beginning of the crisis of sovereign debt.
The activity in the Asia-Pacific region increased, transactions grew by 43 percent between the second and third quarters of 2010. The South American region had its best quarter since 2008, doubling in the same quarter the previous year.
