Report on social media use in Spain

October 28, 2010 at 1:21 pm Leave a comment

This report is from November last year, but we believe it’s accurate for our period as well. According to this, 61% of users check their social media accounts daily. Not surprisingly, Facebook is the most used social network. 17% of these users check social networks for work and for professional relations and another 13% check advice regarding possible shopping or acquisitions.

We can draw some conclusions on the advantage that companies gain after establishing their presence on social networks. Users do pay attention to companies on Facebook and it’s important to establish a rapport and a friendly relationship with them. Moreover, social networks give companies the chance to establish new professional contacts and collaborations.

That being said, watch this report on Spanish users that we’ve found online. Sorry, it’s in Spanish.
