Promoters present at MediterraneanReal Estate Fair , Urbe, appreciate an improvement in home sales from last year and have good prospects for the end of the year, but at the same time recognize the lack of confidence of potential buyers to obtain financing.

Urbe welcomes nine exhibitors at the Real Estate Fair until next Sunday, four of which are financial institutions with real estate division. Its the second edition of this trade fair this year.

With discounts of up to 35 percent if booked at the fair, from 3,500 euros in already completed buildings, sales of appliances, alternative financing products and extra services, such as unemployment insurance, the real estate companies that are attending have said thay they are satisfied if they make at least one or two sales a day.

A significant change from last year’s edition is based on the fact that currently the most important promoters are the financial institutions, as evidenced by the proportion of private developers and banks participant at the fair.

The second half of the year also provides good prospects and the companies are confident that the elimination of tax relief for residence, which will come into force next year, will advance sales this year.

Some of the promoters have decided to start new developments, albeit cautiously or have restarted some frozen developments by detecting “a small rise, some excitement and an upturn in demand, but very slow one”.
