According to Financial Times, the recovery of the Spanish economy is weak and uncertain and Spain continues to face the threat of recession, in spite of overcoming fears that appeared in the last few monthts in the international market and political environment.

The analysis, which appeared today in the British journal, emphasizes the specialists’ opinion that it it too early to tell if the Spanish economy has truly overcome the economic crisis. Even so, the economists consider the predictions  for economic growth for the next months to be optimistic.

After the smal growths of 0,1% and 0,2% in the first and second trimesters of the year, the risk for Spain is not to slip again into a technical recession (two consecutive trimesters of negativ growth) at the end of 2010 and beginning of  2011.

The main reasons for these fears are the decreasing faith in the Spanish economy, the increase of the VAT and the end of Renove, the government plan that helps the acquisition of new cars.
