Selling do’s and don’ts

1. Get ready for showings. You and your house have to be ready for showcasts at moment’s notice. This means that you have to make your house available for as much time as possible. When you put your house on the market, remember to add even the smallest details, such as parking space. The smallest things can influence a buyer into purchasing your home.

2. Don’t do major renovations before you sell. They are unlikely to bring some return, but small changes can add up to the value of your house.

3. Don’t set a selling price too high. Do some research, find out how much similar houses were sold.

4. Market your home on the Internet. The Internet is practically the biggest market in the world. What better place to start selling your home? If you’re in contact with a realtor, make sure that the agency feature virtual tours and videos of the houses.

5. Showcase your home’s best features. Think at your home from a buyer’s perspective. What would they want to see?
